WCSgc is now officially incorporated as Gold Coast Womens Cancer Advocacy Inc – a Not for Profit organization dedicated to caring for cancer warriors and survivors. Cancer is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide. The Women’s Cancer Support – Gold Coast is both online and face to face support group with regular meetups and events. We have Local leaders and buddies in each Postcode or suburb from Beenleigh to Kingscliff and including Mt Tamborine & Beaudesert. We also have chat groups for women with ALL various types of cancer. Sandra Johston OAM started a Support group for women with Breast Cancer in 2019 after her own diagnosis in 2017.

It was decided to open up the group to Women with ALL types of Cancers. Hence the group was formed and became the Women’s Cancer Support – GC
and “Rainbow Warriors”
Now with over 700 + cancer warriors and/or survivors.
We are also thrilled to announce that Sandra was selected as a Finalist for the prestigious
Gold Coast Senior Australian of the Year award 2024. This incredible achievement is a testament to Sandra’s dedication, hard work, and positive impact in our community. Join us in congratulating Sandra on this well-deserved recognition.
