How WCS-GC Started
Sandra Johston OAM started a Support group for women with Breast Cancer in 2019 after her own diagnosis in 2017.

It was decided to open up the group to Women with ALL types of Cancers. Hence the group was formed and became the Women’s Cancer Support – GC
and “Rainbow Warriors”
Now with over 700 + cancer warriors and/or survivors.
We are also thrilled to announce that Sandra was selected as a Finalist for the prestigious
Gold Coast Senior Australian of the Year award 2024. This incredible achievement is a testament to Sandra’s dedication, hard work, and positive impact in our community. Join us in congratulating Sandra on this well-deserved recognition.

Coming Soon you will be able to Donate using the Safe and Secure PalPal donation link to Gold Coast Womens’ Cancer Advocacy Inc as a DGR registered charity , to help build a Gold Coast Womens Cancer WELLNESS CENTRE to provide all of the services we are now not able to access. We have many volunteers working on the project and would love it to come to fruition THIS YEAR.
